EClinCloud (Ningbo) Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of a new financing round totaling tens of millions of RMB. The round was led exclusively by Hongfeng Investment, a life-sciences investment firm based in Ningbo.

The funding is intended to deepen AI research and product development, expand global delivery capabilities, and strengthen digital infrastructure for drug and medical-device clinical research.

Investment in connected, AI-enabled trial execution

EClinCloud develops a unified clinical cloud platform and endpoint-assessment technology. Its product family includes eCOA, CTMS, eTMF, EDC, RTSM, IRC, and RM, alongside services for scale management, linguistic validation, rater training, study build, and data-quality analysis.

The company's multidisciplinary team includes medical and drug-development professionals with experience at Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, IQVIA, and other global life-sciences organizations, as well as technology leaders with backgrounds at IBM, Oracle, and major internet companies. A dedicated AI innovation center supports model research and production engineering.

EClinCloud applies AI across protocol interpretation, study configuration, source-data capture, project monitoring, document workflows, and analytics. The company combines those capabilities with a connected data foundation so that automation can work across clinical systems instead of remaining inside isolated tools.

Global delivery and regional deployment

EClinCloud's SaaS platform supports multiple languages and regional deployment options. Hosting and data-residency arrangements can be shaped around project requirements, with study teams confirming the specific architecture during evaluation.

The platform has supported international multicenter work and study sites across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and China. The financing will support continued growth of the company's international team and partner network.

Michael Qin, PhD, founder and CEO of EClinCloud, said the company would continue focusing on AI-driven solutions across the drug-development value chain and help global customers accelerate the path from clinical study to innovative treatment.
